BORNHOLM

reportage

Ever since I was a kid, my family and I have been on Bornholm for our holidays. We’ve visited more and more each year as my parents have a cottage on the island. Bornholm has a wonderful diversity when it comes to nature – something you can’t find that many places in Denmark. It’s rocky and a hilly terrain in the northern end of the island, while the sourthern part of the island offers beautiful beaches.

In 2016 my sister, Mathilde, worked on Chrstiansø. Christiansø is the easternmost part of Denmark with around 90 residents. I went there to visit her.
