HOW IT ALL BEGAN:

MEET GRANDMA INGER

My photography journey began in 2007, thanks to a deal with my grandmother. She gifted me a camera on the condition that we would learn photography together. It sounded perfect, but it quickly became clear that my interest in photography didn’t align with her obsession with birds. I guess you could say our photography adventures quickly flew in different directions. Over the following years, I experimented with different genres of photography and editing styles. But it wasn’t until 2013 when I shot my first wedding. It was wild and chaotic, but the experience of capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments was incredibly rewarding, and I knew I had found my calling.

THE CLASSROOM

AND THE CAMERA

Although I discovered my passion years ago, it wasn’t until 2022 that I became a full-time wedding photographer. After graduating as a teacher, I spent 7 years teaching full-time while documenting weddings on the side—chalk on weekdays, confetti on the weekends. This background has equipped me with the skills to connect with people and understand their unique needs. Just as every student in a diverse classroom requires a tailored approach, so does each couple I photograph. I recognize that everyone is different, and I strive to capture those individual qualities in my work.

FATHERHOOD

AND FRESH PERSPECTIVES

Being a dad has profoundly shaped my approach to photography. Since welcoming my daughter and son into the world, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of capturing memories even more—both the big moments and the small ones. Kids are naturally curious and see the world with fresh eyes, and I strive to bring that same sense of wonder into my wedding photography. I approach each wedding with an open mind and a sense of adventure—much like my son, who once decided to 'redecorate' our house with a permanent marker, even giving our cat Peter (now forever known as Pedro) a lifelong mustache. This perspective allows me to capture not just the typical highlights, but also the real emotions, candid interactions, and little details that make each wedding truly unique.

OVER 250

WEDDINGS LATER

Since that first wedding in 2013, I’ve photographed at least 250 more, and my love for it has only grown. Over the years, I’ve found my groove—both in how I shoot, how I edit, and how I connect with couples. I see myself as more than just a photographer; I’m a storyteller, dedicated to documenting love stories as they truly are. For me, it’s crucial that your wedding photos reflect your unique connection—not a polished, staged version you’d find in a magazine. I’ve developed a clear approach that I don’t compromise on because I believe the best stories are told when they’re captured authentically.

WHAT I

OFTEN HEAR

What I often hear from couples is how much they appreciate the relaxed, natural atmosphere I bring to their special day. And yes, there’s one other thing I’ve been told a lot—I look and vibe like Seth Rogen. But while Seth might show up to your wedding with a joint, I’ll be there with a camera, a clear head, and ready to capture your day as it truly unfolds—no smoke, no mirrors.
