"It is no exaggeration when we say our special day would not have been complete without Kristjan. From the very beginning when we corresponded over email, Kristjan was incredibly warm and professional.  We don't take photos very often as we both feel a bit awkward on camera, especially when it comes to posing, so we asked for our photos to be on the more casual side. Our wedding group was small, 12 people including ourselves, made up of friends and family that we don't see as often as we'd like; our goal for the entire wedding day was to spend time together exploring a bit of Frederiksberg and Copenhagen as well as have these special memories captured. Since our plan was to explore the area, Kristjan helped us plan a route from Frederiksberg Town Hall to Nyhavn taking the metro and walking, which we loved! After the ceremony, he recommended a local bakery along our route to Frederiksberg Have because we had wanted to picnic in the gardens; the bakery and the spots he picked for us to stop at to take photos were perfection. We have never been to the area but Kristjan gave us fantastic suggestions and recommendations, from the route to food to the weather. The photos Kristjan captured are even better than our expectations. They capture spontaneous moments with incredible care in lighting, composition, and editing. When we received our preview so much sooner than expected, we were absolutely blown away! Every one of the photos reflected what we had hoped for and more; we are so lucky to have found Kristjan to capture our special day!"

We are normally quite awkward in front of a camera, but Kristjans easy-going and friendly nature instantly helped us to create a comfortable environment. "Kristjan took amazing pictures and we would recommend him to anyone! Kristjan was our photographer for our elopement to get married in Denmark in September 2023. He was very easy to work with, he was very responsive, and there was great communication leading up to the ceremony, especially when we were trying to figure out payment from overseas. He was also very helpful with suggestions for places to visit in Copenhagen once we arrived.

On the day of the ceremony, we arranged to meet up at the City Hall, and Kristjan helped set us at ease and be comfortable with getting our photos taken, which was really important to us. He really captured the vibe of the ceremony, and our photos feel really authentic. He took us around City Hall, and then to various spots around Copenhagen, where he had a knack for finding cute spots to take photos at. We also asked him for some videography, which also turned out amazing! Watching it again really brought me back to how magical the ceremony was and how I felt in the moment. Honestly I wasn't sure how he was able to get all the pictures and video all at the same time since he was by himself, but we are really pleased with how both the photos and the video turned out. At the end of the photography session, we said farewell, and our communication afterwards remained open and easy as we waited to get our pictures and video back. The photos came back very quickly, faster than we had anticipated, and the video followed a couple of weeks later.

All-in-all, I'd recommend Kristjan to anyone who's thinking of getting married in Denmark!"

“Kristjan wasn’t just our photographer—he felt like part of the family entourage, and he made our wedding day in Copenhagen so much more special. From the very start, he was with us at the accommodation (just in time for the start of a chaotic Chinese tea ceremony), all the way to the train ride to Copenhagen City Hall (those photos are absolutely stunning). His prompts throughout the day had us either tearing up from the emotions or laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe. It was such a fun and heartfelt experience!

We had a walking tour wedding photoshoot (yes, we did that—and it was so much fun!), and Kristjan was such a good sport. He even brought us to this cosy little basement cellar for drinks, where we had the best time doing a Yum Seng (cheers) together. Whether it was the tea ceremony or navigating through the drizzle (when he kindly lent us his jacket for some fun shots), Kristjan made everything feel so relaxed and enjoyable.

The photos were incredible—so many gorgeous candid moments and lovely family shots. We loved every second, and so did our family. We couldn’t have asked for more—it was such a happy, laughter-filled day, and the photos reflect every bit of that joy.

Even now, looking at the photos, we find ourselves laughing and tearing up all over again. Kristjan truly captured the magic of the day. It’s so special to think about how these photos beautifully document this chapter of our lives—maybe one day we’ll have the chance to capture another!”
